Painters Thread - Syringa

This small braided metallic is strong and does not fray easily in the needle. It also stitches without easily tangling. It is recommended the thread be used in lengths of no more than 24" (10 m spool)

Gimp is made by wrapping a viscose (Rayon) thread tightly around a core of cotton threads.  It is very flexible. It can be couched, stitched with, or used as a tiny cording.

Braided Rayon is approximately 1/4" wide. Behaves like a soft, supple ribbon so it appears round or can be laid flat.
