Ornament Finishing Class

Back by popular demand, we will be hosting Needlepoint Finishing classes in April 2026. Two different class sessions will be offered on.

Saturday, April 11 , from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Sunday, April 12 , from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Cost: $125

Requirements to attend:  Completed round ornament up to 5" in diameter or a completed square ornament no larger than 5". 

Ornament must be in handed into the shop by March 30, 2026. This will allow the teacher to pull fabric and create a kit for you to use in the class. You will receive the following in the class:

• Written Instructions
• Matching fabric backing 
• Batting & Fiberfill
• Mat board insert
• Custom cording (to be made in class)

Cancellations are accepted up to one week in advance. 
Last minute cancellations or requests to reschedule do not receive a refund. You will receive your kit and instructions after the class is delivered.

ENGLISH GARDEN RIBBON CLASS - INDEPENDENT STUDY

So many customers are asking for a class on ribbon work. Since our schedule is a bit tight, we've created a stitch guide for you that includes instructions for stitching florals. It's a great beginning ribbon project for all levels of needlepoint skills.

Beginning Needlepoint Classes: This is a half-day class is held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In this class you will learn five needlepoint stitches. It's best if you have at least a small amount of needlepoint experience to attend (and know how to thread a needle!). Classes are scheduled for the following dates:         Our schedule for 2026 will be published soon!  All supplies for the class are included in the cost. Spring Retreats:  Each year we host weekend retreats in the Spring and the Fall. Our Spring retreats for 2026 are listed below. There retreats are held at the shop on Thursday thru Saturday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bring whatever you want to stitch, meet new friends, and shop all weekend. The retreat weekend cost $100 and includes lunch on Thursday and Friday.         Spring Weekend #1 (in-house):  March 12 - 14        Spring Weekend #2 (in-house):  March 19 - 21        Registration is closed.  Retreats are full!          The registration fee is non-refundable. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
