Our current schedule of classes is below. Class fees must be paid for at the time of registration. Cancellations are accepted up to one week in advance.

GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS CLASS
This stunning piece is the Max and Oscar Great Smoky Mountains National Park hand-painted canvas by Painted Pony Designs. It showcases intermediate to advanced decorative stitches. The stitches were choose by Bridget Viehweg who will be teaching this fabulous piece!
This two-day workshop is designed for intermediate stitchers who want to move beyond the basic tent stitch and explore texture, dimension, and fiber blending. Students will use the Great Smoky Mountains National Park canvas to learn how to select decorative stitches that mimic natural elements like mountains, forests, waterfalls, and animal fur. this is also a study in working with overdyed threads. You'll be able to apply many of these techniques on future canvases for snowfall, hills, waterfalls, clouds, and more.
Class Dates: September 18 and 19
Class Fee: $750, deposit of $300 will reserve your spot.
We have divided the class fee into two payments. Sign up below to pay the deposit fee for the class. Or, feel free to call the shop to register. We will contact you for a final payment in August.

ENGLISH GARDEN RIBBON CLASS - INDEPENDENT STUDY
So many customers are asking for a class on ribbon work. Since our schedule is a bit tight, we've created a stitch guide for you that includes instructions for stitching florals. It's a great beginning ribbon project for all levels of needlepoint skills.

Beginning Needlepoint Classes: This is a half-day class is held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In this class you will learn five needlepoint stitches. It's best if you have at least a small amount of needlepoint experience to attend (and know how to thread a needle!). Fall Retreats: Each year we host weekend retreats in the Spring and the Fall. Our Fall retreats will be available on Wednesday, April 8 for registration. The retreats are held at the shop on Thursday thru Saturday, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Bring whatever you want to stitch, meet new friends, and shop all weekend. The retreat weekend cost $125 and includes lunch on Thursday and Friday. Fall Weekend #1 (in-house): October 8, 9 and 10 Fall Weekend #2 (in-house): October 22, 23, and 24 Registration will open on April 8. The registration fee is non-refundable. |
